Series NS2™ Air Flow Pressure Sensing Switches are the ideal choice for OEM applications. They are designed with sturdy, contaminant-free construction and provide low cost, high accuracy and reliability. They have a narrow switching differential and low set point tolerance over a wide operating temperature and set point range, and can be used to sense positive, negative or differential air pressure. Non-adjustable factory-calibrated set points are available from 0.05″ to 10.0″ wc.

For residential and light commercial HVAC applications, we recommend our Series NS2-0000-0X switches with field-adjustable set points in a 0.10″ to 10.0″ wc range. All the other features of the non-adjustable NS2 switch are available. In addition, the field-adjustable NS2’s are available in a convenient packaged kit. Ideal for contractors, the kit contains an adjustable NS2 switch, instruction booklet, and the hardware necessary to calibrate the set point and install the switch.

The glass-filled polycarbonate body of the switch provides a high degree of stability and accommodates many sample line connector options. The housing contains a sensing diaphragm and an integral snap-acting switch.

Air sample line connectors are located on either or both sides of the diaphragm. The high and low pressure ports are color-coded for ease of identification. An optional bleedhole is available.

The electrical connection consists of male 90° quick-connect spade terminals.The integral snap action switch (patent pending) is actuated by a pressure or vacuum air flow, or by a pressure or vacuum differential. SPNO, SPNC, and SPDT terminal configurations are available.

Port, mounting bracket, and terminal orientations can be specified. Numerous standard options are available, and we readily accommodate custom feature requirements.
